TREE
FELLING
Felling and removal from small to large and dangerous trees.
Where space allows, the tree is felled in a single section using various techniques to control the direction of the fall.
In the domestic environment, felling is not often an option due to confined space so the tree is dismantled in sections.
When space is very limited or a tree overhangs objects, the tree is dismantled using rigging and lowering techniques.
CROWN
REDUCTION
This involves the overall reduction of the size of a crown of a tree. It can involve reshaping, reducing the height and/or spread of one or more portions of the crown.
This is a good way of admitting more light into your property and garden because it allows for more sunlight to appear over the top and around the tree.
Another reason for a crown reduciton is to manage the size of your tree.
CROWN
LIFTING
This involves pruning to achieve a desired vertical clearance above grown level or another surface.
This can be a good way of clearing lower branches that may be hindering space within your property and possibly allowing for a more pleasing aesthetical look.
CROWN
THINNING
Selective removal of internal branches to thin out the density of the crown.
An even density of foliage should be retained throughout the crown in a well spaced and balanced structure.
Crown thinning is a great way of admitting more light into your garden/property, giving a dappled sunlight effect which leaves your tree looking natural.
DEAD
WOODING
This involves removing the dead, diseased and decaying branches from a tree.
This operation removes the risk of dead, diseased and decaying wood from shedding or failing which results with the branches falling beneath the canopy of the tree.
Dead wooding can also be done for aesthetical reasons
SELECTIVE
